Does Sugar Make you Tired?

Lately, I have been pondering about the effects on refined and processed sugars in our bodies and I also made an experiment with consuming more sugars and then cutting them 100% out of my diet.

The results of this experiment are unbelievable to me, yet I found them to be true. The question that I asked after the experiment is if sugar makes me tired or what the reason for my exhaustion was. And I came to the conclusion that sugar is the reason for that.

Spinach is a green, leafy vegetable that is packed with health benefits, which I will be discussing in this article.

You have probably asked many times: Is Spinach healthy or is it really as healthy as it is said to be? I had wondered about this question too, and I have come to the conclusion that there are definitely many reasons to eat spinach on a daily basis.

After doing some research over time about spinach, I can say that it is actually one of my favorite vegetables because of the benefits I have from eating it. It took me some time to get used to eating so many leafy greens as I currently do. My first 25 years of life were marked by eating literally no leafy vegetables at all. Recently, I have learned new things about my personal weight loss, since I am trying to lose weight myself. In one of my previous posts, I stated that I had lost 21 pounds. On September 25th, 2017, I started Bright Line Eating, a program developed by Susan Peirce Thompson, in which you follow 4 bright lines, no sugar, no flour, measure your food, and eat 3 or 5 meals a day.

In my previous post, I was talking about things I had learned when I was with the nutritionist and he was the one that gave me some answers to the question if it was really important to eat fruits and vegetables. The question is also one that I have been asked over and over from my students! Indeed, I have asked myself very often. Let’s look a little closer at what the benefits of fruits and vegetables are.

When I grew up, whenever I asked that question, the only reply I would get was: You eat it because it is healthy.

Making the Right Food Choices – Does it Really Matter?

In one of my previous posts, I said I would address what I learned during the time I was with my nutritionist. Maybe you question the relevance of that, but I never thought things could change so dramatically for me and my family as we learned that making the right food choices really do matter.

Not only did we learn about making wiser food choices, we also learned many interesting facts about food in our body and that our health is determined mostly by what we eat.

I am sure the title of this post makes you think this is just another one of those not true success stories of weight loss or you might wish this story could be yours. Your thoughts may be the same as they are for me every time I see one of those posts. Let me tell you this: It is not just another one, it is a unique one because everybody is unique in its own way!
